Chelsea Crowned UEFA Conference League Champions

Chelsea became champions by defeating Real Betis 4-1 in the UEFA Conference League final held at Tarczyński Arena in Wrocław, Poland. Real Betis started the match quickly, taking the lead in the 9th minute with a goal from Abdessamad Ezzalzouli. However, Chelsea turned the game around with a strong performance in the second half.

Chelsea equalized in the 65th minute with a goal by Enzo Fernández and took the lead in the 70th minute thanks to Nicolas Jackson. Jadon Sancho increased the lead in the 83rd minute, and Moisés Caicedo sealed the 4-1 final score with a goal in injury time (90+1).

With this victory, Chelsea became the first club to have won all major UEFA men's club titles. Previously, Chelsea had won the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, UEFA Super Cup, and the now-defunct UEFA Cup Winners' Cup. The Conference League title completes their collection.

Man of the Match Cole Palmer was one of the key contributors with assists to Enzo Fernández and Nicolas Jackson. Chelsea’s manager Enzo Maresca stated that this win reinforced the young players' winning mentality.

Chelsea finished in the top four of the Premier League this season, qualifying for the UEFA Champions League next year. Additionally, the team will face tough opponents such as Flamengo and Esperance de Tunis in the FIFA Club World Cup to be held in the United States next year.
